How is the Ministry going?
First of all, We will like to thank you so much for all you have invested in our ministry. It is so good to see what the Lord has done through the years.
As We are called to train Christian disciples, to evangelize the lost and to mobilize the church to action. The Lord has shown us that a great way to do this is through training, music, worship, performing arts and giving opportunity to children, teens, and adults for strategic short and long term missions worldwide. Please know this place will not be the same if you were not involved in our ministry. Thank you so much for believing and for standing in faith with us. We appreciate you very much!
One of the things the Lord has been showing us is that the more We work and invest in the church, the more We have a heart for it. We are so grateful to God for all these years in the mission field, it has helped us to grow in every area. Also, the love for Latinoamerica is present in are hearts more than ever. We are grateful that we can keep ministering there.
Right now, we are here working with YWAM Lakeside Montana, we are getting ready to work with our School of Worship for a few couple of months, the students are from Ukraine, USA & Canada. We are excited because they will be going to Costa Rica, Mexico for outreach. I am sure they will have some amazing stories. This SOW will be sending having 16 students.
We are so proud of our students and thankful to the Lord for his faithfulness.
Sincerely!
Jorge & Rachel
The Jiménez & HFBC in Costa Rica Update
We are praying for an amazing time in Costa Rica. But before going in to it, we want to thank you so much for all you prayers, we feel them! we know we are not alone because you are praying for us. We know that a lot of things happened in the spiritual because of the teams trip to Costa Rica. We feel so blessed for been able to share this wonderful outreach time with
HOUSTON'S FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. We believe the Lord will use the team in amazing ways. We will be challenge, He will teach us many things, He will use us to share the Good News of Salvation, We will be his hands and feet down there. We will be ministering to many kids doing soccer games, we will share Christ & will pray for people in the parks and the beach, etc. We as a family are praying for The Lord to impact not just the lives of the people we minister to, but the lives of everyone in the team. We have been serving in missions for so many years now and it is wonderful to see this teams ministering in Costa Rica. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your prayers and support. We could not do this without you.
Bible Teaching
She is also been working with Leadership 13, which is a ministry that trains different YWAM bases leaders and ministry teams. She has recently traveled to Costa Rica, Los Angeles, Virginia & Idaho with the team as they have been training these locations in how to create a culture/ministry that will be able to grow in strength as they grow in numbers. It really is exciting to see what God is in YWAM all over the world and how many young people have the passion to see the gospel advanced!
Some of Our Programs: SOW
The School of Worship Ministry takes students deeper into a life of integrity, passion and worship. We strive to open up their eyes to the awesome opportunity we have as believers to worship our savior "in spirit and truth". We see John 4:23 that this is the type of worshiper the Father seeks, but what does it mean? How do we walk this out in our lives? The SOW endeavors to help reveal the answers to these questions. However, it is up to the students to live it out in their lives. We want to raise up worship leaders who have the hearts and mind of a disciple, have a passionate love for God, and live a life of obedience. We give the tools to develop both the physical and the spiritual aspects of worship leading.
